Speculative Mandala: The state of the art of poppy history

Speculative Mandala is a double-sided painted mandala installation that presents Haonan He's double perspective macro- and micro on the development of poppy colonization history research. Firstly, on the one side he uses the section of the poppy fruit as an image and then he articulates the historical development of the poppy with other historical events from the 17th century onwards, in order to present a subjective cartography of the history of the poppy drug in relation to other elements in history. On the other side, the artist uses a labyrinth as a metaphor for the full picture of Haunan's own life-research. The intention is to present a map-based role-play for the viewer to explore in the role of a researcher, demonstrating author-centered speculation aimed at the problem (the solution to poppy drugs).

《推测性曼陀罗》是一件双面彩绘曼陀罗装置作品，从宏观和微观两个层面展现了何浩楠对罂粟殖民史研究发展的双重视角。首先，他以罂粟果实的切面为图像，将罂粟的历史发展与 17 世纪以来的其他历史事件相衔接，从而呈现出罂粟毒品历史与其他历史元素相关的主观地图。另一方面，以迷宫的形式展现/还原了何浩楠本人作为研究者的生活图景，意在为观众呈现一个基于地图的角色扮演，让参观者扮演研究者的角色进行探寻。它展示了以作者为中心、以问题（罂粟毒品的解决方案）为目标的推测。

Speculative Mandala est une installation de mandalas peints à double face qui présente la double perspective de Haonan He sur la recherche sur l'histoire de la colonisation du pavot à la fois à l'échelle macro et micro. D'une part, il utilise la section du fruit du pavot comme image, puis il articule le développement historique du pavot avec d'autres événements historiques à partir du XVIIe siècle, afin de présenter une cartographie subjective. D'autre part, sous la forme d'un labyrinthe, situer présente une image complète de la vie de haonan He en tant que chercheur, et vise à présenter au public un jeu de rôle basé sur une carte, qui amène le visiteur à jouer le rôle d'un chercheur en quête, ce qui démontre une spéculation centrée sur l'auteur visant le problème (la solution à la drogue du pavot).
